Second surgery complete

Mama's second surgery is complete. It's quite a process to get her unhooked from all of the machines but once they finally got her out of ICU and into surgery they flushed her out and found that her gall bladder had become necrotic, they removed it and did an ileostomy because of a small tear in the small intestines. The surgeon is planning on Thursday for the closure of her abdominal wall although it all depends on her stability and swelling. She is back in ICU and is basically sedated. Hopefully that will change soon after she has her third surgery and is on the road to recovery. The doctors believe that she will need to go to a care facility once she's recovering so she still has the care she needs. I love you mama! Keep fighting!!
